I, Timothy, returned here to Lodja with a group of visiting pastors who came to speak at the annual Eglise Evangelique du Congo pastors' conference, March 8 - 11, 2007. As you can see from the pictures, hundreds of believers from the surrounding congregations attended the popular conference along with almost 300 pastors from the village churches from across the Sankuru Sub-region. Pastors arrive on foot or on bicycle from as far as 450 km away for the sound Biblical teaching and the fellowship and general cross-pollination. This year many of the pastors were given pilot copies of the first Atetela books produced by our Biblical Literature Translation team: Victory in Christ (Elembielo le Kristu), by Charles Trumball, and The Rebirth of Music (Euhuwelo ka Mishiki), by Lamar Boshman. These first three pictures are a panorama of the conference meeting. Showing Pastor Walt Shepherd, the keynote speaker, who set the theme for all the messages to cover The Parables of Christ from Luke 9 to 18. It was a rich time of soaking in the words of Christ for all.
